Vegan Nacho Cheese

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup cashews, soaked for at least 2h - water discarded);
  • 1/2 - 1 cup water (it depends on the consistency you like);
  • 2 cloves garlic;
  • 1 jalapeño or chili pepper ?;
  • 3 tbsp nutricional yeast;
  • juice of 1 lemon ?;
  • 2 tsp cumin;
  • 1/2 - 1 tsp salt;

Preparation

  1. Black pepper and or cayenne to taste

  2. Sauté the onions and garlic until they soften up

  3. Then blend with all ingredients until very smooth
