Vegan Sesame Cauliflower with Sticky Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 small Cauliflower
- 1/3 cup flour (can be gf)
- 1/3 cup water
- Pinch of salt and pepper
- Pinch of garlic and onion powder
Sauce
- 1 clove garlic finely chopped
- Same size piece of ginger grated
- 2 tbs brown sugar or maple syrup
- 1 tbs rice wine vinegar
- 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
- 1/2 cup veggie stock
- 1 tsp cornflour
- 1 tbs water
Preparation
Mix the sauce ingredients together and add to a pan, then bring to a boil.
Add 1 tsp cornflour mixed with 1 tbs water to the sauce, reduce heat, and stir until desired thickness is reached, then coat the cauliflower.
Mix and coat the batter (made from flour, water, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder) over the cauliflower.
Place the coated cauliflower in an oven at 180 degrees Celsius, spray with a little olive oil, and cook for 40 minutes or until golden.
