Avocado and Mushroom Toast
Ingredients
- Some oil
- 1-2 cups sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
- Black pepper to taste
- Chili flakes to taste
- Herbs of your choice (optional)
- 1 avocado
- Lemon juice to taste
- Salt to taste
- Bread for toasting
Preparation
Heat some oil in a skillet and add 1-2 cups of sliced mushrooms.
Add 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder and 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce, then cook on medium heat for 8-10 minutes or until mushrooms are caramelized.
Season with black pepper, chili flakes, and herbs of your choice.
Meanwhile, mash an avocado in a bowl and season with lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste.
Toast bread
Serve the mushroom mixture and mashed avocado on the toasted bread
