Avocado and Mushroom Toast

Ingredients

  • Some oil
  • 1-2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Chili flakes to taste
  • Herbs of your choice (optional)
  • 1 avocado
  • Lemon juice to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Bread for toasting

Preparation

  1. Heat some oil in a skillet and add 1-2 cups of sliced mushrooms.

  2. Add 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder and 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce, then cook on medium heat for 8-10 minutes or until mushrooms are caramelized.

  3. Season with black pepper, chili flakes, and herbs of your choice.

  4. Meanwhile, mash an avocado in a bowl and season with lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste.

  5. Toast bread

  6. Serve the mushroom mixture and mashed avocado on the toasted bread
