Baked Tofu Fries
Ingredients
- 400 grams firm tofu
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Seasonings
- 1/2 cup nutritional yeast
- 1/2 cup finely ground peanuts
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 200 °C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Drain and cut the tofu into fries about 1 cm thick.
In a medium bowl, combine all the seasonings together.
Toss the tofu fries with oil and add them to the bowl with the seasonings. Toss until evenly coated.
Press down gently to get the coating to stick to the fries.
Arrange the coated tofu fries on the baking tray and bake for 20 minutes. You can bake them longer, depending on how crisp you want them to be.
Serve the baked tofu fries warm and enjoy.
