Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta
Ingredients
- penne pasta
- about 4 tablespoons pasta water
- 4 Laughing Cow extra light cheese triangles
- Elmlea light single cream
- Taste and Glory roast chicken tenderstrips
- Cajun seasoning
- garlic puree
- onion salt
- sweet smoked paprika
- chopped spinach
- Hellmann's chilli and garlic sauce
- tender stem broccoli
- Morrisons black pepper and sea salt bloomer bread
- Tesco butterpak spreadable
- a dot of garlic puree
- Monterey Jack cheese
Preparation
Cook penne pasta until tender and reserve about 4 tablespoons of pasta water.
Stir the cheese triangles with the reserved pasta water until melted and begins to thicken.
Add light single cream and mix well.
Pan-fry the roast chicken tenderstrips until cooked, then add them to the mixture.
Stir in Cajun seasoning, garlic puree, onion salt, and sweet smoked paprika to taste.
Add chopped spinach and chilli and garlic sauce, cooking until the spinach wilts.
Incorporate tender stem broccoli and cook until tender.
For the garlic bread, spread butter and a dot of garlic puree over the bread slices.
Top the bread with Monterey Jack cheese and bake in a hot oven for 6 minutes.
