Creamy Cajun Chik'n and Bac'n Pasta
Ingredients
- Rigatoni mezzi
- Richmond Foods meat-free chargrilled no chicken style pieces
- This isn't bacon
- Oxo meat-free chicken flavour stock cube
- Cajun seasoning
- 1 tablespoon tomato puree
- 6 Laughing Cow lightest cheese triangles
- Sea salt
- Chives
- Chilli flakes
- Hellmanns chilli and garlic sauce
Preparation
Cook rigatoni for 9 minutes and reserve some pasta water.
Pan-fry the meat-free chicken pieces until cooked.
Pan-fry the bacon substitute until crispy.
Dissolve the stock cube in a little water and mix with Cajun seasoning and tomato puree to create a sauce base.
Stir the cheese triangles into some reserved pasta water until creamy and combine with the sauce.
Add the cooked pasta to the sauce mixture.
Incorporate the fried chicken and bacon into the pasta.
Season with sea salt, chives, and chilli flakes, and drizzle with chilli and garlic sauce before serving.
