Easy Vegan Spiced Banana Bread
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups self-raising gluten-free flour
- 1 cup spelt flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons ground cardamom
- 2 ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup walnuts
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a loaf pan
In a large bowl, mix together the dry ingredients: flours, baking powder, cinnamon, and cardamom
In another bowl, mash the bananas and combine with any necessary wet ingredients to form a batter
Fold the walnuts into the batter
Pour the mixture into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean
