Easy Vegan Spiced Banana Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups self-raising gluten-free flour
  • 1 cup spelt flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons ground cardamom
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup walnuts

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a loaf pan

  2. In a large bowl, mix together the dry ingredients: flours, baking powder, cinnamon, and cardamom

  3. In another bowl, mash the bananas and combine with any necessary wet ingredients to form a batter

  4. Fold the walnuts into the batter

  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean
