Homemade Basil Pesto with Pasta
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup pine nuts
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 2 cups fresh basil
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Pasta (cooked, amount as desired)
Preparation
Cook the pasta according to package instructions.
Place basil in a food processor and gradually add olive oil until a paste forms.
Add the remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.
Mix with the cooked pasta and serve.
