Simple Sourdough Toast with Sweet and Savory Toppings
Ingredients
- 2 slices of local sourdough bread
- Almond butter
- Raspberries
- Plain yogurt
- Banana
- Granola
- Cinnamon
- Spinach
- Ghee
- Red pepper flakes
- 1/2 avocado
Preparation
Toast the 2 slices of sourdough bread.
Sauté the spinach in ghee for less than a minute.
Mash the raspberries.
Slice the banana if needed.
Assemble the sweet topping on one slice: spread almond butter, add mashed raspberries, plain yogurt, banana slices, granola, and sprinkle with cinnamon.
Assemble the savory topping on the other slice: add sautéed spinach, red pepper flakes, and top with half an avocado.
Tips
Store half a banana in the fridge with a rubber band to prevent browning and reduce waste.
