Sourdough French Toast Bites with Maple Butter Dipping Sauce
Ingredients
- 3-4 pieces of sourdough
- 2 eggs
- 3 tbsp milk of choice
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- cinnamon sugar mixture: 1/4 cup coconut sugar and 2+ tsp cinnamon
Preparation
For the maple butter: 3 tbsp melted coconut butter and 1-2 tbsp maple syrup (could also use the maple butter from TJoes or just maple syrup)
Cut sourdough (or desired bread) into cubes, dip in egg mixture, cook on cast iron skillet for ~2 min per side, immediately coat in cin sugar mixture
Plate with dipping sauce and enjoy
