Sourdough Pancakes for Non-Sour Saturday
Ingredients
- 1 cup sourdough starter
- 2 cups oatmilk
- 2 cups unbleached flour
- 1/4 cup avocado oil
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 3 tablespoons ground flax
- 6 tablespoons water
Preparation
Mix together the flax and water, then let it sit.
Stir the sourdough starter and oatmilk together.
Add in the flour and oil, and mix until mostly smooth.
Mix in the baking soda, baking powder, and vanilla.
Fold in the soaked flax.
Measure out 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake and cook.
