Spicy Cauliflower Wings Alternative
Ingredients
- Cauliflower florets
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup flour (optional, GF recommended)
- Frank's hot sauce (1/3 to 1/2 cup for coating)
- Coconut or avocado oil spray
- Chili powder (to taste)
- Sea salt (to taste)
- Garlic powder (to taste)
- Sriracha (optional, to taste)
Preparation
Coating in flour is optional but key for crispiness; use 1/4 to 1/2 cup depending on cauliflower amount.
Break up cauliflower florets in a bowl and mix in dry seasonings to taste, such as chili powder, sea salt, and garlic powder.
Spray the mixture with coconut or avocado oil spray.
Coat the florets with Frank's hot sauce until well covered (about 1/3 to 1/2 cup).
Cook by roasting in a convection oven at 425°F for 30 minutes, flipping halfway, on a tinfoil-lined tray.
Alternatively, air fry at 400°F for 10 minutes, shake, and cook for another 15 minutes; cook in batches for even results.
Serve with chopped celery, carrots, and a dip made from plain Greek yogurt mixed with ranch seasoning for a healthier option.
