Stuffed Muddy Flapjacks with Fillings
Ingredients
- 300g porridge oats
- 100g honey or golden syrup (approx)
- 100-150g brown sugar
- 150g butter or vegan alternative
Fillings
- 100g dark chocolate (approx)
- 100g blueberries or raspberries (approx)
- 6 tablespoons strawberry jam
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Melt the butter in a saucepan, add the sugar and honey, and allow the sugar to melt on a low heat.
When the sugar has melted, add the oats and mix well.
Pour half the mixture into your baking tray and press down well.
Add your jam and berries or chocolate layer.
Top with the rest of the oats and press down well.
Bake in the oven at 180°C for 30 minutes.
Allow to cool fully before removing from the baking tin.
