- 4-5 cheese slices
- Some pizza sauce
- Some finely chopped onion
- Some finely chopped capsicum
- Some chilli flakes (optional)
- Some pizza seasonings
- Oil for brushing on paratha balls and while roasting
Preparation
Take a mixing bowl and add 250 gm plain flour (maida).
Add salt as per taste.
Add 1 tsp sugar.
Add 20 gm butter at room temperature.
Add 150 ml water step by step and knead a soft dough.
Apply some oil on the dough and let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
Take the dough on a kitchen platform or work surface and cut it into pieces larger than paratha balls.
Roll the pieces into balls and shape them round.
Take a container greased with oil.
Roll the balls in the container to coat with oil.
Place all balls in the container, brush with more oil, and cover with plastic wrap.
Leave the container aside for 2-3 hours or overnight in the refrigerator to make thinner paratha.
Take one ball and place it on the kitchen platform, using some oil if required.
Flatten it with the help of hands.
Stretch the sides of the paratha upwards to make it bigger.
Place a cheese slice in the middle.
Spread some pizza sauce on it.
Add some finely chopped onion.
Add some finely chopped capsicum.
Sprinkle some chilli flakes if desired.
Sprinkle some pizza seasonings.
Lift the sides of the paratha one by one and fold them to cover the stuffing, making a square shape paratha.
Heat a pan and brush it with some oil.
Place the paratha upside down on the pan.
Brush oil on top and cook on medium flame until both sides turn golden brown.
Repeat the process for the remaining parathas.
