Brazilian Shortcrust Pastry for Hand Pies

Ingredients

  • 500 g all-purpose flour
  • 200 g margarine
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Water as needed

Preparation

  1. Place the flour in a bowl and add the remaining ingredients except the water

  2. Mix without kneading and gradually add water until you obtain a homogeneous dough that does not stick to the hands

  3. Let rest for 30 minutes

  4. Use your preferred filling
