Homemade Roti Canai Bread

Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 2 tablespoons condensed milk

Preparation

  1. Mix flour, margarine, and condensed milk to form a crumbly mixture.

  2. Add egg and salt dissolved in water.

  3. Gradually add cold water until the dough no longer sticks to hands.

  4. Shape dough into balls and soak in oil for at least 2 hours.

  5. Stretch the dough thinly and layer it to create flakes.

  6. Fry the prepared dough until golden and crispy.
