Soft Homemade Milk Bread Rolls
Ingredients
- 2 eggs, plus 1 extra for brushing
- 2 cups warm milk (warm enough to dissolve yeast)
- 50 g fresh yeast
- 4 tablespoons margarine
- 1 level tablespoon salt
- 2 heaping tablespoons sugar
- Wheat flour as needed to make dough not stick to hands
Preparation
In a large deep bowl, pour the warm milk and dissolve the yeast
Add the margarine, salt, sugar, and eggs, and mix well until all ingredients are combined
Gradually add the wheat flour and mix with your hands until the dough comes off the hands
Shape into small rolls about 10 cm in size
Place on a greased and floured baking sheet, spacing them apart
Let rest for about 20 minutes to allow the dough to rise, then beat the remaining egg for brushing
Brush with the egg and bake in a hot oven until golden
