Delicious Brazilian Well-Married Cake
Ingredients
Cake batter
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 2/3 cup hot milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
Filling
- 2 cans sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 4 tablespoons brown sugar
Preparation
Separate the egg whites and yolks into different containers.
Beat the egg whites until stiff.
Add the yolks one by one without stopping the beating.
Add the sugar and beat until the mixture becomes white.
Add the vanilla extract.
Mix in the flour slowly.
Pour in the hot milk mixed with the baking powder and beat until a homogeneous batter forms.
Place the batter in a greased and floured pan and bake in a preheated oven at 180Β°C for one hour.
For the filling, mix all ingredients and cook on low heat until it boils.
Cut the baked cake into layers and spread the filling between them.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar for decoration.
