Brazilian Moist Cake Without Baking Powder

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 eggs

Preparation

  1. Blend the milk and sweetened condensed milk in a blender until homogeneous

  2. Add the sugar, eggs, and butter and blend well

  3. With the blender running, gradually add the flour

  4. Blend for about 2 minutes until the flour is completely incorporated

  5. Pour the batter into a greased and floured pan

  6. Bake in a preheated medium oven for 45 minutes or until golden

Tips

  1. Since this cake does not use leavening, you don't need to worry about it rising
