Brazilian Moist Cake Without Baking Powder
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 4 cups milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 eggs
Preparation
Blend the milk and sweetened condensed milk in a blender until homogeneous
Add the sugar, eggs, and butter and blend well
With the blender running, gradually add the flour
Blend for about 2 minutes until the flour is completely incorporated
Pour the batter into a greased and floured pan
Bake in a preheated medium oven for 45 minutes or until golden
Tips
Since this cake does not use leavening, you don't need to worry about it rising
