Chinese Chicken with Black Pepper
Ingredients
- 4 chicken fillets
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
Vegetables
- 1 tablespoon thinly sliced ginger
- 4 sliced garlic cloves
- 2 thinly sliced green onions
- 1 thinly sliced green bell pepper
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 2 medium zucchini, thinly sliced
- 4 medium mushrooms, sliced
- 6 baby corn
- 2 medium carrots, thinly sliced
- 1 medium onion, cut into wedges
- 1 teaspoon crushed chili
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame seeds
Garnish
- Green onion leaves for garnishing
Preparation
Mix the chicken with cornstarch, paprika, black pepper, and salt, and marinate for a few minutes.
Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
Add ginger, garlic, and some green onions, then stir-fry until fragrant.
Add the marinated chicken and cook until browned and cooked through.
Add the remaining vegetables and stir-fry until tender-crisp.
Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, crushed chili, and sesame seeds, and cook for another minute.
Garnish with green onion leaves and serve immediately.
