Okami High Protein French Toast
Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp Okami Bio Isolated pea protein, rice protein, carob & cacao
- 4 slices of bread
- 250 ml Almond milk or another type
- 2 Tbsp maple syrup
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Toppings
- Kiwi
- Strawberries
- Maple syrup
Preparation
Whisk milk, maple syrup, cinnamon and vanilla extract together in a baking dish until well-combined.
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and melt a bit of coconut oil.
Dip the bread in the milk mixture, evenly coating both sides. Shake off any excess mixture. Cook for 3 minutes on each side until light browned.
Serve the French toasts with kiwi and strawberries. Drizzle with maple syrup to taste. Enjoy!
