Okami High Protein French Toast

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp Okami Bio Isolated pea protein, rice protein, carob & cacao
  • 4 slices of bread
  • 250 ml Almond milk or another type
  • 2 Tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract

Toppings

  • Kiwi
  • Strawberries
  • Maple syrup

Preparation

  1. Whisk milk, maple syrup, cinnamon and vanilla extract together in a baking dish until well-combined.

  2. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and melt a bit of coconut oil.

  3. Dip the bread in the milk mixture, evenly coating both sides. Shake off any excess mixture. Cook for 3 minutes on each side until light browned.

  4. Serve the French toasts with kiwi and strawberries. Drizzle with maple syrup to taste. Enjoy!
