Hungarian Style Creamy Chicken Paprikash
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1kg chicken thighs (chunks)
- 2 onions (diced)
- 2 red peppers (diced)
- 1/2 cup paprika
- 400ml stock
- 150ml cream
- 1 tbsp cornflour
- Salt & pepper
Preparation
Heat oil in sauté pan on medium-high heat.
Season chicken, sear it skin-side down for 5 minutes, flip and cook for another 3 minutes, then remove from the pan.
Cook onion for 4-5 minutes, then add peppers and paprika and cook for 1 minute.
Stir in cornflour and stock, return chicken to the pan, cover, and simmer for 25 minutes.
Stir in cream and season to taste.
