Copycat Hokben Chicken Roll

Ingredients

Wrapper

  • 100 grams all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg
  • 150 ml milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon melted margarine

Filling

  • 3 chicken thigh fillets, cut into pieces
  • 300 grams shrimp
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

Preparation

  1. Mix the wrapper ingredients until smooth, then pour into a pan greased with margarine, spread thinly, and cook until done.

  2. Mix all the filling ingredients together to form a mixture.

  3. Place the cooked wrapper on parchment paper, add the filling mixture, roll it up, and steam until cooked.

  4. Cut the rolls into pieces and fry until golden brown.
