Cheese and Milk Pie
Ingredients
- 3 1/4 cups flour
- 2 tablespoons yeast
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup corn oil
- 1 1/4 cups warm water
Filling
- 1 cup soft cream cheese
- 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon instant coffee
Topping
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
Preparation
Prepare a 10-inch round baking pan and set it aside.
In a mixer bowl, combine the dough ingredients, mix with a dough hook for a few minutes until smooth, cover, and let rest for 20 minutes until doubled in size.
Prepare the filling by mixing its ingredients until well combined.
Cut the rested dough into small pieces.
Place a small amount of filling in the center of each dough piece, seal tightly, and arrange in the prepared pan with some space between them. Cover and let rise until doubled in size.
Preheat the oven to 190°C.
Bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from the oven, spread the topping over the hot pie, and serve warm.
