Chocolate Cakey Protein Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup whey protein (vanilla or chocolate)
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 20g skinny hot chocolate/cocoa
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 50g mashed banana
  • 50g fat-free plain yoghurt
  • 1/2 cup salt & sugar-free peanut/almond butter

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).

  2. Spray a baking tin with cooking spray (preferably a glass baking tray).

  3. In a bowl, combine dry ingredients: whey protein, all-purpose flour, skinny hot chocolate/cocoa, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.

  4. Add mashed banana, fat-free plain yoghurt, and salt & sugar-free peanut/almond butter to the bowl. Mix until just combined.

  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking tin.

  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, checking/testing the brownies as needed.

  7. Once baked, remove from the oven and let them cool.

  8. Decorate as desired; you can use a mixture of yoghurt and vanilla whey protein.
