Chocolate Cakey Protein Brownies
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup whey protein (vanilla or chocolate)
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 20g skinny hot chocolate/cocoa
- 1 tsp baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- 50g mashed banana
- 50g fat-free plain yoghurt
- 1/2 cup salt & sugar-free peanut/almond butter
Preparation
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
Spray a baking tin with cooking spray (preferably a glass baking tray).
In a bowl, combine dry ingredients: whey protein, all-purpose flour, skinny hot chocolate/cocoa, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
Add mashed banana, fat-free plain yoghurt, and salt & sugar-free peanut/almond butter to the bowl. Mix until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking tin.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, checking/testing the brownies as needed.
Once baked, remove from the oven and let them cool.
Decorate as desired; you can use a mixture of yoghurt and vanilla whey protein.
