Moist Steamed Banana Cake
Ingredients
Dry mix
- 2 cups wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
Wet mix
- 1.5 cups mashed bananas
- 1 cup cooking oil
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
Preparation
Blend eggs and sugar until well combined.
Mix the blended mixture with mashed banana and cooking oil.
Gradually add the sifted dry mix to the wet mix and stir until smooth, ensuring no lumps.
Pour the batter into molds, filling them halfway.
Steam for 15 minutes on medium heat.
Tips
Cover the steamer lid with a cloth to prevent water droplets.
To achieve nice banana strands, mash the bananas instead of blending them.
If making a larger batch, simply double the mixture.
