  • 1 cup fine-grained sugar
  • 10 tablespoons flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup chocolate cream

Garnish

  • roasted peanuts

Preparation

  1. Set the middle rack in the oven and preheat to 180 degrees. Prepare shallow baking sheets.

  2. In a mixer bowl, place the peanuts, sugar, flour, egg, vanilla, and butter. Attach the beater and mix on medium speed until dough forms.

  3. Shape the dough into walnut-sized balls and place on the sheets with 1 inch between each. Use your index finger to make a dent in the center of each ball.

  4. Bake the biscuits for 12 minutes until light golden.

  5. Transfer the biscuits to a wire rack and let cool completely.

  6. Using a small spoon, fill the dent with chocolate cream. Place a peanut in each biscuit and serve.
