Powdered Milk Pudding in the Oven

Ingredients

Syrup

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup water

Pudding

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup water (250ml)
  • 1 cup milk (250ml)
  • 10 tablespoons powdered milk (100g)
  • 8 tablespoons sugar

Preparation

Syrup

  1. In a pan, place the sugar.

  2. Cook over low heat, stirring continuously until the sugar melts completely.

  3. Then, carefully add the water and stir constantly.

  4. Note: at this moment, the sugar will harden and become sticky. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely.

  5. Then pour this syrup into a pudding mold and caramelize the sides.

Pudding

  1. In a blender, place the eggs, water, milk, powdered milk, and sugar. Blend for 3 minutes or until well homogenized.

  2. Pour this mixture into the caramelized mold.

  3. Cover the mold with aluminum foil, sealing the sides well. Bake in a preheated oven at 180Β°C in a water bath for about 1 hour.

  4. Remove the pudding from the oven and let it cool completely.

  5. Unmold and refrigerate for 2 hours.

Tips

  1. Use hot water for the water bath.
