Powdered Milk Pudding in the Oven
Ingredients
Syrup
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup water
Pudding
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup water (250ml)
- 1 cup milk (250ml)
- 10 tablespoons powdered milk (100g)
- 8 tablespoons sugar
Preparation
Syrup
In a pan, place the sugar.
Cook over low heat, stirring continuously until the sugar melts completely.
Then, carefully add the water and stir constantly.
Note: at this moment, the sugar will harden and become sticky. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely.
Then pour this syrup into a pudding mold and caramelize the sides.
Pudding
In a blender, place the eggs, water, milk, powdered milk, and sugar. Blend for 3 minutes or until well homogenized.
Pour this mixture into the caramelized mold.
Cover the mold with aluminum foil, sealing the sides well. Bake in a preheated oven at 180Β°C in a water bath for about 1 hour.
Remove the pudding from the oven and let it cool completely.
Unmold and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Tips
Use hot water for the water bath.
