Brazilian Powdered Milk Pudding

Ingredients

Pudding

  • 3 whole eggs
  • 16 tablespoons powdered milk
  • 10 tablespoons sugar
  • 4 cups water

Caramel

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup water

Preparation

  1. Blend the eggs, powdered milk, sugar, and water in a blender until smooth and set aside

  2. In a saucepan, combine the sugar and water for the caramel and bring to a boil

  3. Do not stir until the syrup turns amber, then remove from heat

  4. Pour the caramel into a pudding mold and swirl to coat the bottom and sides

  5. Pour the blended pudding mixture over the caramel

  6. Bake in a water bath until the top is golden
