Tahini Cookies with Oats and Walnuts

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup raw tahini
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 1/4 cup jumbo oats
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup ground almonds
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/3 cup chopped walnuts (can also use almonds or dark chocolate chips)
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 190C

  2. In a medium sized bowl, mix all the ingredients apart from the sesame seeds. Combine well.

  3. Form balls and place on a lined baking tray

  4. Flatten slightly but you still want it to be a nice fat cookie

  5. Bake for about 11 minutes in the middle of the oven till golden brown

  6. Let them cool slightly and then transfer to a cooling rack to cool fully
