Tahini Cookies with Oats and Walnuts
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup raw tahini
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 1/4 cup jumbo oats
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup ground almonds
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/3 cup chopped walnuts (can also use almonds or dark chocolate chips)
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
Preparation
Preheat oven to 190C
In a medium sized bowl, mix all the ingredients apart from the sesame seeds. Combine well.
Form balls and place on a lined baking tray
Flatten slightly but you still want it to be a nice fat cookie
Bake for about 11 minutes in the middle of the oven till golden brown
Let them cool slightly and then transfer to a cooling rack to cool fully
