Homemade Edamame Pesto with Fresh Basil and Garlic

Ingredients

  • 1 cup edamame
  • 1.5 cups basil
  • 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
  • 2 tablespoons hemp seeds
  • Juice from 1/2 lemon
  • 1-2 garlic cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • Olive oil as needed

Preparation

  1. Combine all ingredients except olive oil in a food processor or high-speed blender.

  2. Blend the mixture.

  3. Gradually add olive oil while blending until the desired consistency is achieved.
