Best Tasting Oatmeal with Turmeric and Cranberries
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup water
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1/4 tsp white pepper
- 1/8 tsp cardamom
- 2 anise stars
- 1 plump date
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries
Toppings
- Yogurt
- Maple syrup
Preparation
Pulse the rolled oats in a blender a few times.
Chop the date.
Add all ingredients to a saucepan and simmer on low heat until desired thickness.
Swirl in yogurt and drizzle with maple syrup.
