Coconut Infused Oatmeal
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup quick oats
- 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
- 1-2 tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- pinch of cardamom
- pinch of salt
- 1 banana, sliced up
- 1 cup almond milk or coconut milk if you want more coconut flavor ?
Preparation
Add all of your ingredients to a saucepan and bring to a simmer on your stove top
Allow mixture to cook and thicken for about 3 minutes and remove from stove top
Pour oats into a bowl and top as desired
To make your bowl look fancier without much effort, grab 3 to 4 blueberries and 3 to 4 blackberries
Slice them in half to get more color contrast and add them to your bowl
This trick also works with other berries as well
