Turmeric Oats with Banana and Maple Syrup
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup quick oats
- 1 banana
- 2 tsp maple syrup
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ginger
- Pinch cardamom
- Pinch turmeric
- Pinch nutmeg
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup almond milk or more as needed
Preparation
If you're not a fan of turmeric, start with a tiny pinch and use spices like cinnamon and ginger to balance the flavor.
Add all ingredients to a saucepan and bring to a simmer.
Stir and cook until the mixture thickens.
Top with desired additions.
