Turkish Crepe Börek with Cheese
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 2 cups water
- 15 heaping tablespoons flour
- A pinch of salt
- A pinch of sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
Preparation
Beat the egg well, then add the other ingredients and mix to form a thick ayran-like consistency.
Grease a Teflon pan, pour a ladleful of batter, spread it thinly over the pan, cook the crepe, then flip and cook the other side.
Place grated cheese in the center of each crepe and fold it into a square shape.
Grease the pan with butter, cook the filled crepes by turning them until lightly browned.
