Easy Blueberry Chia Jam with Mint

Ingredients

  • 200g blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon agave nectar (optional)
  • a few sprigs of mint
  • 3 tablespoons chia seeds

Preparation

  1. Cook 200g blueberries in a heavy pan with 1 tablespoon of agave nectar (optional) and a few sprigs of mint for about 5 minutes until the berries burst and soften.

  2. Remove the mint and mash the berries.

  3. Add 3 tablespoons of chia seeds and stir.

  4. Spoon the mixture into clean jam jars and leave to set for an hour or so. The chia seeds will swell and thicken the jam.

  5. Enjoy the jam.

Tips

  1. Optionally, add cinnamon sticks while cooking for extra flavor, as it enhances the taste.
