Pumpkin Oats Breakfast Bowl with Fall Spices
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup oats
- 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
- 1 cup water
- 1 scoop salted maca caramel protein
- 1/2 cup pumpkin purée
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1 cup frozen berries
- 1 tablespoon unsweetened vegan yogurt
Preparation
Set out the frozen berries to thaw
Mix the oats and flax
Heat up the water for 2 minutes and carefully pour over the oats, then cover with a plate for at least 30 min
Remove the plate and add the protein, pumpkin pie spice, and pumpkin purée, and stir to combine, adding a splash of water if it seems too dry
Top with the thawed berries and a nice lil plop or drizzle of unsweetened vegan yogurt
Tips
The texture is thick and dreamy, and no need to dirty pots or use the stove
