Quick Stovetop Oatmeal with Banana and Spices
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 tbsp ground flax seed
- 1 tbsp shredded coconut
- 1 mashed banana
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
Preparation
Place all ingredients in a saucepan and heat over medium heat.
Allow mixture to thicken for about 5 minutes, then remove from heat.
As oats sit, they will continue to thicken.
Once at desired thickness, adjust seasonings and serve with fruit and additional toppings.
