Quick Stovetop Oatmeal with Banana and Spices

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp ground flax seed
  • 1 tbsp shredded coconut
  • 1 mashed banana
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Preparation

  1. Place all ingredients in a saucepan and heat over medium heat.

  2. Allow mixture to thicken for about 5 minutes, then remove from heat.

  3. As oats sit, they will continue to thicken.

  4. Once at desired thickness, adjust seasonings and serve with fruit and additional toppings.
