Easy Homemade Strawberry Chia Pop-tarts

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups gluten free all purpose flour or regular
  • 2 tbsp. coconut sugar
  • 3 tbsp. cold butter
  • 5 tbsp. cold water

Filling

  • mashed strawberries
  • coconut sugar
  • chia seeds

Preparation

  1. Next time, make the dough a little thinner or smaller to add more filling.

  2. Preheat oven to 350F.

  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour and sugar, then add in the cold butter and cold water with a fork. Use your hands towards the end to form a dough ball.

  4. Make 10 small dough balls (about 1 1/2 tbsp. each) and flatten each one.

  5. Stir together the filling ingredients in a bowl (use desired amounts) and place small amounts in the middle of 5 dough sheets.

  6. Place the top dough on, press the edges together with a fork, and bake for 10 minutes.
