Easy Homemade Strawberry Chia Pop-tarts
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups gluten free all purpose flour or regular
- 2 tbsp. coconut sugar
- 3 tbsp. cold butter
- 5 tbsp. cold water
Filling
- mashed strawberries
- coconut sugar
- chia seeds
Preparation
Next time, make the dough a little thinner or smaller to add more filling.
Preheat oven to 350F.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour and sugar, then add in the cold butter and cold water with a fork. Use your hands towards the end to form a dough ball.
Make 10 small dough balls (about 1 1/2 tbsp. each) and flatten each one.
Stir together the filling ingredients in a bowl (use desired amounts) and place small amounts in the middle of 5 dough sheets.
Place the top dough on, press the edges together with a fork, and bake for 10 minutes.
