Ginger and Cinnamon Waffle with Yoghurt and Maple Syrup

Ingredients

  • 1 cup wholemeal flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Wet additions

  • 1 cup plant milk
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Preparation

  1. Mix the dry ingredients together.

  2. Add the wet ingredients and whisk together.

  3. Cook the batter in a waffle machine for ten minutes or bake in a waffle tray at 200 degrees Celsius for twelve minutes.

  4. Serve with yoghurt and maple syrup
