Vegan Cinnamon Rolls with Date Filling
Ingredients
Dough
- 360g flour
- 1ts cinnamon
- 1/2ts cardamom (leave out if you don’t have it)
- 160ml plantmilk
- 4tb maple syrup
- 1/2 dice fresh yeast
Filling
- 150g dates (pitted)
- 100ml plantmilk
- 3ts cinnamon
Glaze
- 1/4 cup coconut oil (not melted)
- 4tb water
- 2 1/4 cups powdered sugar
Preparation
mix flour, cinnamon and cardamom
Heat up milk with maple syrup in a pot
Crumple yeast in the warm milk
Give in the flour and mix together
Let sit in a warm place for 40minutes
Mix all ingredients for the filling in a mixer
Preheat oven on 180degrees (C) circulating air
Roll out the dough really thin and spread the filling on top - Roll up, then cut about 12 cinnamon rolls
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes
Let it cool down
Mix all ingredients for the glaze together
Top the cinnamon rolls with the glaze
