Simple Maple Pecan Bars

Ingredients

Base

  • 100g flour
  • 15g coconut oil
  • 1-2 tbsps maple syrup

Top layer

  • 16g coconut oil
  • 30g Maple syrup
  • Handful of chopped pecans

Preparation

  1. Bake the base at 170°C for 15-20 minutes.

  2. Allow the base to cool.

  3. Heat the top layer ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil for a few minutes until golden.

  4. Pour the mixture over the cooled base.

  5. Bake again at 170°C for 10-12 minutes.
