Cheese Ball with Nuts

Ingredients

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup softened cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped dill
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Coating

  • 1/4 cup finely chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 cup ground almonds

Preparation

  1. In a blender bowl, place cheddar cheese, parmesan cheese, cream cheese, dill, Worcestershire sauce, paprika and garlic powder. Attach the mixing beater and turn on at medium speed for a minute to mix the ingredients.

  2. Place the cheese mixture on a piece of parchment paper and shape it into a neat ball.

  3. Place the walnuts and almonds in a deep plate. Place the cheese ball in the nut mixture and roll it gently while pressing lightly to coat it completely with the nuts.

  4. Place the nut-coated cheese ball in the refrigerator until serving.

  5. Place the cheese ball on a serving plate, arrange crackers around it and serve with pickles.
