Cheese Ball with Nuts
Ingredients
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese
- 1 cup softened cream cheese
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped dill
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Coating
- 1/4 cup finely chopped walnuts
- 1/4 cup ground almonds
Preparation
In a blender bowl, place cheddar cheese, parmesan cheese, cream cheese, dill, Worcestershire sauce, paprika and garlic powder. Attach the mixing beater and turn on at medium speed for a minute to mix the ingredients.
Place the cheese mixture on a piece of parchment paper and shape it into a neat ball.
Place the walnuts and almonds in a deep plate. Place the cheese ball in the nut mixture and roll it gently while pressing lightly to coat it completely with the nuts.
Place the nut-coated cheese ball in the refrigerator until serving.
Place the cheese ball on a serving plate, arrange crackers around it and serve with pickles.
