Easy and Nutritious Overnight Oats

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup porridge oats
  • 1/2-3/4 cup milk of choice (e.g., soya milk)
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 1-2 tsp nut butter or seed butter
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 handful berries or any fruit

Preparation

  1. Add all the ingredients to a jar or storage container with a lid

  2. Stir all the ingredients together

  3. Place the oats mixture in the fridge to soak overnight

Notes

  1. Add less milk for a thicker consistency

  2. Oats can be given to babies from 6 months and children of any age

  3. In the morning, eat the oats as is or add yogurt and a drizzle of honey or maple syrup, but avoid honey for babies under 12 months
