Black Bean Brownies with Chocolate
Ingredients
- 1 cup oats
- 1 can black beans (drained and rinsed)
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup applesauce
- 1/4 cup cacao powder
- chocolate chips (to taste)
Preparation
Blend 1 cup of oats into a flour consistency and set aside.
In a food processor, combine 1 can of drained and rinsed black beans, 1/2 cup maple syrup, 1/2 cup applesauce, and 1/4 cup cacao powder. Process until smooth.
Stir in the oat flour by hand.
Stir in the desired amount of chocolate chips.
Pour the batter into a loaf pan, sprinkle with more chocolate chips, and bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
