Brazilian Baked Hot Dog Casserole

Ingredients

Dough

  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup oil
  • 3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
  • 12 tablespoons baking powder
  • Salt to taste

Filling

  • 300g mozzarella cheese
  • 20 cooked hot dogs, sliced
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 can corn

Topping

  • Grated parmesan cheese
  • Oregano

Preparation

  1. Blend the dough ingredients in a blender until smooth

  2. Grease a large baking dish with butter and flour, then spread half of the dough

  3. Layer mozzarella, sliced hot dogs, tomato sauce, corn, and onion, followed by another layer of mozzarella

  4. Pour the remaining dough on top and sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese and oregano

  5. Bake in a preheated oven for 35 minutes or until golden brown
