Easy Brazilian Ground Meat Casserole
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 700g ground meat
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tomatoes, seeded and chopped
- 1 cup drained canned green corn
- 1 envelope powdered beef bouillon
- Salt, black pepper, and chopped fresh parsley and scallions to taste
Topping
- 2 cups cream cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Garnish
- Shoestring potatoes (for sprinkling)
Preparation
Heat oil in a pan over high heat and sautΓ© ground meat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally
Add onion, garlic, tomatoes, corn, and beef bouillon; sautΓ© for 5 more minutes or until meat is no longer raw
Season with salt, black pepper, and chopped fresh parsley and scallions; spread mixture in a medium baking dish
Cover with cream cheese and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese
Bake in a preheated oven at 200Β°C for 10 minutes or until lightly browned
Sprinkle with shoestring potatoes and serve
