Brazilian Corn Cake with Cheese and Guava Paste

Ingredients

  • 2 cups corn flour
  • 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 (15 oz) can corn, drained
  • 1 (50g) package grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon cream cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

Topping

  • Mozzarella cheese or coalho cheese, to taste
  • Guava paste, to taste

Preparation

  1. Blend all ingredients in a blender except the baking powder; blend well for 4 minutes

  2. Add the baking powder and mix with a spoon

  3. Pour the batter into a buttered and sugared pan

  4. Top with mozzarella cheese or coalho cheese and guava paste to taste

  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 180Β°C for 30 to 40 minutes
