Brazilian Corn Cake with Cheese and Guava Paste
Ingredients
- 2 cups corn flour
- 2 tablespoons margarine
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 cup milk
- 1 (15 oz) can corn, drained
- 1 (50g) package grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon cream cheese
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
Topping
- Mozzarella cheese or coalho cheese, to taste
- Guava paste, to taste
Preparation
Blend all ingredients in a blender except the baking powder; blend well for 4 minutes
Add the baking powder and mix with a spoon
Pour the batter into a buttered and sugared pan
Top with mozzarella cheese or coalho cheese and guava paste to taste
Bake in a preheated oven at 180Β°C for 30 to 40 minutes
