Corn Cake with Curau Topping
Ingredients
Cake batter
- 1 can of corn without the liquid
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 cup of corn flakes
- 1/2 cup of oil
- 3 eggs
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder
Corn pudding
- 1 can of corn
- 1/2 liter of milk
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 2.5 tablespoons of cornstarch
- a pinch of salt
Preparation
For the cake batter, blend all ingredients except the baking powder in a blender for about 5 minutes.
Then, add the baking powder and mix.
Pour the batter into a greased pan and bake in a preheated oven at 190 degrees for about 35 minutes.
For the corn pudding, blend all ingredients in a blender and cook over medium heat until thickened.
Tips
If using a small pan, it won't hold all the batter; divide into another container for baking.
