Corn Cake with Curau Topping

Ingredients

Cake batter

  • 1 can of corn without the liquid
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup of corn flakes
  • 1/2 cup of oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder

Corn pudding

  • 1 can of corn
  • 1/2 liter of milk
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 2.5 tablespoons of cornstarch
  • a pinch of salt

Preparation

  1. For the cake batter, blend all ingredients except the baking powder in a blender for about 5 minutes.

  2. Then, add the baking powder and mix.

  3. Pour the batter into a greased pan and bake in a preheated oven at 190 degrees for about 35 minutes.

  4. For the corn pudding, blend all ingredients in a blender and cook over medium heat until thickened.

Tips

  1. If using a small pan, it won't hold all the batter; divide into another container for baking.
