Easy Homemade Chocolate Cereal Balls
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup smooth natural peanut butter
- 1/2 small banana
- 2.5 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 2.5 tablespoons maple syrup
- Splash of plant-based milk (optional)
Preparation
Grind the rolled oats into flour using a blender.
Mash half a small banana with a fork.
Preheat the oven to 160C and line a baking tray with baking paper.
Mix together the peanut butter, maple syrup, and mashed banana.
Add the oat flour and cocoa powder and mix until a dough forms; use hands if necessary. If the mixture seems dry, add a splash of plant-based milk.
Roll small amounts of the dough into balls and place them on the baking tray.
Bake for 10 minutes; the balls will be soft when removed but will harden as they cool.
Serve by pouring into a bowl with milk and enjoy.
Tips
These can be enjoyed as a snack on their own or with milk.
