Easy Homemade Chocolate Cereal Balls

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup smooth natural peanut butter
  • 1/2 small banana
  • 2.5 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 2.5 tablespoons maple syrup
  • Splash of plant-based milk (optional)

Preparation

  1. Grind the rolled oats into flour using a blender.

  2. Mash half a small banana with a fork.

  3. Preheat the oven to 160C and line a baking tray with baking paper.

  4. Mix together the peanut butter, maple syrup, and mashed banana.

  5. Add the oat flour and cocoa powder and mix until a dough forms; use hands if necessary. If the mixture seems dry, add a splash of plant-based milk.

  6. Roll small amounts of the dough into balls and place them on the baking tray.

  7. Bake for 10 minutes; the balls will be soft when removed but will harden as they cool.

  8. Serve by pouring into a bowl with milk and enjoy.
